Feed Children a Nutritionally Balanced Diet

"There is no finer investment for any community than putting milk into babies." -quotes by Winston Churchill
It's important for kids to adopt a healthy lifestyle starting at a young age. Parents play an essential role in helping shape kid's eating habits. We have to help our kids eat well and learn to enjoy nutritious foods. Focus on eating nutrient-rich foods instead of what not to eat. For example teach kids to spot:
Brightly colored fruits and 100% fruit juice
Vibrantly colored vegetables
Whole, fortified and fiber-rich grain foods
Low fat and fat-free milk, cheese and yogurt
Meats, fish, eggs, beans and nuts.
These nutrient-rich foods and beverages provide high amounts of beneficial nutrients compared to the calories they provide. Use positive messages.Let kids know that all foods fit into a healthful diet — there are no "good" or "bad" foods. Positive messages help to avoid the stress and guilt that can lead to eating disorders and poorer eating patterns as kid get older.

R educe the Amount of Stress in Kids’ Lives
As a parent, it's important to demonstrate to our kids the benefits of quiet, peaceful, unscheduled time. We should strongly encourage our kids to develop their inner lives as well as their public lives. Always be a good listener to them and allow them to focus their energy on a handful of their favorite hobbies (singing, play football etc). And no doubt they will continuously gain more and more skills in these areas, which will in turn boost their self-esteem.
Let them to have their own time- playing, chatting with siblings, kicking, laughing etc.
An advice from my mother in law:
Reduce Your Children's Stress by Reducing Your Own Stress (ohhww)
Immunization
Immunizations are an important tool to keep our kids healthy and what this immunizations do?

As we know vaccines work by preparing a kid's body to fight illness. Each immunization contains either a dead or a weakened germ, or parts of it, that cause a particular disease. The body practices fighting the disease by making antibodies that recognize specific parts of that germ. This permanent or longstanding response means that if someone is ever exposed to the actual disease, the antibodies are already in place and the body knows how to combat it and the person doesn't get sick. This is called immunity.

So we have to make sure that our kids get their vaccines on time, this is to ensure they always in a good health.

11 reasons why it's so important for kids to get a good night sleep. Source from HERE!

1. Sleep is restorative for the brain.
2. Too little sleep can lead to weight gain by altering levels of the hormones that regulate satiety and hunger, leading to overeating, overweight, and obesity.
3. Growth hormone is secreted during slow wave sleep.
4. Insufficient sleep is associated with a higher incidence of behavioral problems, especially attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
5. Sleep disruption caused by snoring in infants delays their development.
6. Night terrors and confusional arousals are often made worse by sleep deprivation.
7. Memory consolidation occurs during slow wave sleep, meaning that the different pieces of what we've learned during the day come together coherently so that the knowledge can be accessed when needed.
8. Rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, the stage of sleep when the most vivid dreams are dreamt, is important for the "unlearning" of superfluous memories. For example, when a child learns how to ride a bike and falls off the first ten times, finally successful on the eleventh try, the memory of how to perform the task so as to stay on the bike is the one which is important to retain, not the ones of how to fall off. Unlearning removes the unhelpful "how to" memories of how to fall of the bike, so that the next day when the child hops on it, she will automatically re-enact what she did that eleventh time, and not the first ten.
9. School performance improves in kids with poor sleep because of obstructive sleep apnea after it has been treated.
10. Studies using MR spectroscopy to compare healthy children to those with long-standing obstructive sleep apnea have shown that those with the sleep apnea have certain, specific patterns of brain injury not seen in the healthy kids.
11. When kids sleep well, their parents' sleep improves, too, doing wonders for their ability to function during the day (and maintain their sanity in the evening and night). This may be last on this list, but certainly not least!

Overall Well-being
Not only to expose them with the nature environments. To raise our kids in a good atmosphere. They should in a....
1. good health;
2. safety/behavioral concerns;
3. good educational attainments;
4. community connectedness;
5. social relationships with family and peers; and
6. Emotional/spiritual well-being.

Having a child is surely the most beautifully irrational act that two people in love can commit. - quotes by Bill Cosby
